Smokovac
Ohh, where do we begin? Smokovac is one of our favorite crags in the Balkans. Most of the routes are tufa climbs, but if you love crimping, there’s something for you too. With grades from the 5s into the 8s, the crag has something for everyone. The base is mostly flat and spacious, which makes belaying very comfortable.

Getting there

Approach notes
When you parked, start walking back to the main road, on your left you will see a marked path. The path is well marked and will take you directly to the first sector (E), to reach other sector (A, B, C, D) just continue walking up the plateau.
Driving route
If you are driving from Podgorica, just before you cross the bridge on the right there is a narrow road. Take the right there and you will see rail road on your left and in around 100 you will see the parking on your right.
Parking and van logistics
Parking
On the parking there is space for around 6 cars. Whenever our team went, we never had a problem we always had a space to park.
Van and overnight
VAN's can also park on the main parking spot, but if your van is 6m+ it will be hard to turn around if there are cars parked on the parking. Generally we wouldn't recommend parking with a VAN on the main parking. Better options would be across the river. Camping below the crag in the parking lot is prohibited.
Camping and logistics
No camping on the parking nor on the crag.
Signal and working from the van
Mobile signal
Good signal across the whole crag.
Kids and dogs
Amenities
Water
