- Files and photos you explicitly upload.
- Subscription and entitlement status needed to manage premium access.
- Operational diagnostics and usage information needed to keep TENAR reliable and secure.
How We Use Information
- Provide the core TENAR climbing, training, social, and premium subscription features.
- Sync your data across devices and maintain backups through our infrastructure providers.
- Generate analytics, summaries, and AI-powered coaching responses when you request them.
- Detect abuse, investigate reports, enforce our policies, and protect users.
- Improve app quality, performance, and product planning.
Community Route Information
Route, boulder, crag, sector, grade, and location details in TENAR are built from climber contributions and public climbing knowledge. TENAR does not claim ownership of the underlying route information contributed by the community; it is shared from climbers to climbers. We may host, organize, clean up, moderate, and display this information so the community can find, log, and improve shared climbing records. Your personal logs, notes, photos, projects, and profile data remain handled according to your privacy settings and this policy.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell personal information. Content you mark public may be visible to other TENAR users according to your privacy settings. We also share data with service providers that help us operate TENAR, such as authentication/storage/database providers, subscription infrastructure, and AI providers.
Your Choices
- You can update your profile and privacy settings in the app.
- You can delete your account directly in the app.
- If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion through our public account deletion page.
- You can contact support to exercise privacy rights or ask questions about how your data is handled.
Data Retention
We keep account and activity data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect users. When you delete your account, we aim to remove or anonymize personal data unless specific records must be retained for security, legal, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Children's Privacy
TENAR is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it if appropriate.
