Delete Your TENAR Data
You can request deletion of some or all of your TENAR data from inside the app or by emailing us from the address linked to your TENAR account.
Option 1: Delete specific data in the app
Delete selected records without deleting your account
In TENAR, you can remove individual records such as ascents and training sessions from their detail screens.
- Ascents: open the ascent and choose
Delete. - Training sessions: open the session details and choose
Delete.
Option 2: Delete your full account in the app
Delete all account-linked TENAR data
Open TENAR and go to
Profile → Preferences → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your
TENAR account and the account-linked data described below.
Option 3: Request deletion outside the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your TENAR account and tell us whether you want specific data deleted or your full account deleted.
- Use a subject like
TENAR data deletion request. - Include your TENAR account email address and, if available, your username.
- Specify whether you want individual data deleted or your full TENAR account removed.
- We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Data deleted when you remove specific records
- Deleting an ascent removes that ascent record and any app-managed ascent images attached to it.
- Deleting a training session removes that session and its related training-session exercise data.
Data deleted when you delete your TENAR account
- Your profile, preferences, climbing ascents, ascent images, comments, likes, projects, and points data are deleted.
- Your training sessions, exercises, workout templates, daily metrics, and monthly recap data are deleted.
- Your AI Coach conversations, AI feedback, AI outcomes, follows, notifications, blocks, reports, and user feedback are deleted.
- Your TENAR authentication record is deleted from our identity provider.
Data that may be kept
- We may retain limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
- Subscription and purchase records may also be retained by app stores, RevenueCat, and other providers under their own legal or tax obligations.
- If retention is required, we keep only the minimum data needed and only for as long as that purpose requires.
