Rovinj climbing guide
Sport climbing in a former Venetian quarry on the Zlatni rt (Punta Corrente) peninsula, just south of Rovinj in Istria. 150 bolted routes from grade 3 to 7a+, 5-16 m tall, all on vertical limestone without steep overhangs. The easy grades are technical footwork climbs; the harder lines are crimpy with a single hard move. The sectors follow the shoreline under pine forest, so you can pick sun or shade.

Approach notes
About 10 minutes on foot from the lot: through the forest park to the shore, then south along it. Around 30 minutes walking from the old town.
Driving route
Leave the Pula-Buje highway at Rovinj/Kanfanar, drive through town past Hotel Eden toward Lone Bay, and use the big lot roughly 50 m before the roundabout at the park entrance.

Protected forest park since 1948. Use the marked lots and paths only.
